Susan Jordan

Real Property and Real Estate, Probate, Civil Litigation, Business Transactions and Entity Formation, Estate Planning, Guardianships and Conservatorships and Juvenile Law

Susan is a member of the Oregon State Bar and Lane County Bar Association and prior member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association and Oregon Women Lawyers.  She volunteers regularly in connection with the Legal Research and Writing Program at the University of Oregon School of Law and has also assisted with Moot Court. 

 Susan began her legal career in 1997 as law clerk in Lane County Circuit Court and entered private practice in 2000.  She lives in Junction City with her husband and enjoys time with their four grown children and pets.  Susan is a citizen of the U.S. and Canada, is fluent in French, and speaks some Spanish.  She is committed to diversity and inclusivity in her practice.

Mark Williams

Estate Planning, Elder Law, Guardianships and Conservatorships, and Probate.

Mark’s work in developing the area of Elder Law and his accomplishments in that area have been widely recognized. He serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Oregon School of Law, is a current member of the Oregon Continuing Care Retirement Communities Advisory Committee, the Oregon State Bar Legal Ethics Committee, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.  Mark is a former aide to Congressman Ron Wyden, former general counsel for the Oregon State Bar, and past chair of the Elder Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.  

Mark represents clients in contested guardianships and conservatorships, works with professional fiduciaries, and advises clients on planning for long-term care, special needs trusts, and Medicaid spend downs. He also has substantial experience in estate planning including wills, trusts, domestic partnerships, and probate estates.   

Mark is a native of Cottage Grove, Oregon, married, and enjoys swimming, singing, and Notre Dame football. He and his husband Ed are members of The Norsemen and members of the Norwegian Singers Association of America.

Cindy Vance

Legal Assistant

Cindy obtained her Administrative Office Professional Associate’s Degree and Certificate in Legal Office Skills from Lane Community College after a prior career in hospitality services and was hired in 2014. She currently serves as Susan’s legal assistant and receptionist for the firm. A mother of five children, Cindy was integral in developing our firm’s adoption and juvenile law practice and consistently demonstrates unparalleled dedication to our youngest and most vulnerable clients as well as our older clients facing age-related challenges. In her spare time Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and watching Oregon Duck football.
